A massive congratulations to all that took part in our Christmas Quarterly Cup Tournament.
We had 28 entries, 12 ladies and 16 gentleman playing three or four rounds on the six indoor courts. Everyone came festively dressed, though some turned out not that suited for playing tennis in.
Darren Jones got the award for the best dressed. He sweated it out forsaking his scores for the whole morning playing 24 games as a bottle of Gordons gin.
Shot of the day went to Luke Roberts as voted by his partner and opponents in round 4 after a long hard fought rally, Luke pulled off an impressive Win.
Melanie and Nicky shared the top spot both getting 75% win ratio. In co second were David Pinner, David Sanchez and Henry Paez all 70% win ratio. In third was Hollie Newton 68%.
After an enjoyable time playing tennis everyone got to sit down for a festive Christmas Dinner in the clubs function room.
