A history of success
Founded in 1899 as Ipswich Town Hockey Club, we’re enormously proud of what we have achieved over the decades. We have won 16 national titles, two England Hockey cups, two European Silver medals and a Bronze. Many England, GB and International players have started their sporting journey with us.
I went from playing lowest level local league hockey to the highest league in the country and that was when I was well into my 20’s! At Ipswich Hockey Club I feel included and part of something much bigger than me… I have made lifelong friends, found true love and a place I will always call home. IHC is so much more than a hockey club. It’s a family and one that has been leaving a legacy of teamwork, friendship and fun for decades… many people want to be part of carrying that legacy on. I know I do.
