Our very popular comedy nights are on the last Friday of every month. Expect TV names, hilarious headliners and rising stars of the comedy circuit. Paul Tonkinson is making a welcome return to A&E Comedy Club. He’s a double-award winning Time Out Comedian of the Year and his TV appearance include Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC1) and Celebrity Come Dine with Me (Channel 4).
“Brilliant” (The Independent)
Matt Bragg is a former Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year runner up, and he’s supported Ricky Gervais, Harry Hill, Jason Manford and John Bishop on tour (not all at the same time).
“Excellent gags” (Harry Hill)
Daniel Kielty is an ex-boxer, bailiff and… hairdresser. He is not (as far as we know) related to Patrick Kielty.
“One of the most natural performers I’ve seen” (Laughter House Comedy)
Every show is hosted by Ipswich Sports Club member, Ed Dewson, with a silly song or two from BBC London performer and Radio 4 comedy writer Ant Dewson.
