… singing is proven to lift your mood? Ipswich Sports Club’s choir is a great way to socialise and forget the stresses of daily life for an hour or two.
Come and sing your favourite pop classics, some modern hits and fabulous show tunes from the musicals. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and there are loads of opportunities to perform.
Everyone’s welcome, there are no auditions and you don’t need to be able to read music.
Musical Director and ISC member Ed Dewson will guide you through each new song, and make learning your part easy and fun. And if you want to brush up your skills at home, there’s a fantastic “Songs to Sing Along To” section in the Members’ Website with easy-to-read lyrics, audio recordings, video recap lessons and even sheet music if you want it.

Meet your Musical Director
Ed has been performing and teaching music for many years. He has a Masters Degree from Keele University, and he’s sung all around the world with his band, from Monte Carlo to Oman.
