Padel Development Update: Work Underway at Ipswich Sports Club

Work on the new padel development at Ipswich Sports Club is continuing, with the site now undergoing major groundwork as the next stage of the project gets underway.

Over the last few weeks, there has been plenty of activity on site, with the existing area being cleared and prepared for the new courts. Ground has been excavated, old surfaces have been removed and the foundations and preparation work are beginning to take shape.

The scale of the development is becoming much clearer as the work progresses, with machinery now on site and the area being prepared for the installation of the new padel courts.

The project will see Ipswich Sports Club expand its padel facilities with three new fully enclosed courts with canopies, as well as a fourth outdoor court in a separate area of the Club. This will significantly increase the Club’s padel offering and create more opportunities for members and visitors to enjoy one of the fastest-growing racket sports.

While there is still plenty of work to be done, it is exciting to see the development progressing and the plans beginning to become a reality.

We’ll continue to share updates and photos from the site as work progresses, so keep an eye on our website and social media for the latest news.
