Strong Start in the Second Suffolk Division & National Masters Success

Ipswich’s first match in the Second Suffolk Division took place last night, with some impressive performances across the board. Oli and Chris both cruised to comfortable wins, while Joe battled through a tricky match to edge out his opponent. Paul found it tough adapting to the icy courts, but gave it his all, and Andy delivered some clinical returns to frustrate his rival. Of course, the real highlight of the night? The incredible food at Earls Colne—always worth the trip!

In other news, huge congratulations to Julie Anne for her fantastic achievement at the British National Masters at Colets in Thames Ditton over the weekend. She finished as runner-up in her age group, taking down both the No. 3 and No. 1 seeds along the way before a narrow 11/9 defeat in the final set. A brilliant effort—well done, Julie Anne! 🇬🇧👏

Congratulations to Will Burton for finishing 3rd in this years English Junior Champs!
