Mel Davies

Hi everyone! I’m Mel and I’m really excited to be part of the coaching team here at Ipswich Sports Club as a Level 3 LTA Accredited Coach.

I discovered my love of tennis as an adult and haven’t looked back. Since picking up a racket, I’ve enjoyed playing club tennis, competing in the Ipswich and District leagues and have gone on to represent the county – proudly captaining the Over-35s team to back-to-back promotions in consecutive County Cups (2025 & 2026).

From competitive matches to relaxed rallies, I enjoy making the most of every moment on court. Whether you’re keen to fine-tune your technique, build confidence, or simply enjoy the physical and social benefits of the game, my goal is to support you every step of the way.
